President Donald Trump was the keynote speaker at the Black Conservative Federation Friday night in Columbia, South Carolina.
South Carolina Senator Tim Scott said: “We also get the privilege here in South Carolina tomorrow, of making the decision to send the message to America that…Donald J. Trump is our next president and our nominee.”
Former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson: “This is a man who had tons of money, who was already as famous as anybody could be. He didn’t need this…and he put himself out there. Think if he had not won and Hillary had won…we would already be over that cliff.”
Highlights from President Trump's speech:
President Trump: "As one sign of just how great a job we've done, there are more black Republicans serving in the U.S. House of Representatives today than at any time since the 1870's."
President Trump: "Our message to the Black community in this election will be a very simple one: If you want safe borders, safe neighborhoods, rising wages...and the return of the American dream, then congratulations, you are a Republican."
President Trump: "...This November, Black Americans are going to tell...Crooked Joe Biden 'YOU'RE FIRED!' "
President Trump: "So to any Black voter who's thinking about casting your ballot for us...just remember you owe Crooked Joe Biden absolutely nothing."
President Trump: "Joe Biden has already given work permits for 2.5M illegal aliens...total betrayal of Black Americans...they'll work for practically free. You're gonna lose your jobs and meanwhile, migrants are being dumped in predominately Black communities."
President Trump: “You want to be able to go get a loaf of bread and not be shot. I will bring back the rule of law in America and your community will be safe—I promise you that.”
