President Trump is the clear frontrunner in the 2024 Republican presidential primary.

He is lapping the field in both state and national polling.

A poll released Monday of New Hampshire registered voters conducted by the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College shows President Trump with a dominant lead.

St. Anselm College poll (conducted March 28-30):

Trump 42 percent

DeSantis 29 percent

Sununu 14 percent

Haley 4 percent

Ramaswamy 3 percent

Cheney 2 percent

Pence 1 percent

Christie 1 percent

Pompeo 1 percent

Scott 1 percent

A national Reuters poll released Monday afternoon has President Trump with a 29 percent lead. The poll was conducted between March 31 and April 3 after news broke of Alvin Bragg's bogus indictment.

Reuters: "Some 48% of self-described Republicans say they want Trump to be their party's presidential nominee, up from 44% in a March 14-20 poll.  Some 19% back his closest rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, down from 30% last month. Other likely rivals polled in the single digits."

Morning Consult's national tracking poll also continues to show President Trump with a commanding lead.

Morning Consult (March 31 - April 2)

Trump 55 percent

DeSantis 26 percent

Pence 7 percent

Haley 7 percent

Cheney 2 percent

Abbott 1 percent

Pompeo 1 percent

Scott 1 percent
