Joe Biden is going into Thursday's State of the Union with America ready to turn the page from his disastrous presidency. In the past 48 hours, polls from the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, CBS News, and Fox News show that President Donald Trump is leading Biden in the general election. 

 

Voters disapprove of Joe Biden's handling of the major issues. According to Americans, the state of the union is not strong. Over 60 percent of voters disapprove of Joe Biden's handling of the following major issues: immigration, the economy, China, inflation, and the Israel-Hamas war.

Will Joe Biden admit during his State of the Union that America's border crisis is entirely his fault?

 

  • Joe Biden reversed President Trump's successful border policies. He took dozens of executive actions to open up our border to millions of illegal immigrants and tons of deadly drugs.
    • Sen. Marco Rubio on Fox News Sunday: "For the first time in American history, we have a president who will not detain the people who enter this country illegally."
    • Sen. JD Vance on Sunday Morning Futures: "Joe Biden can do all of this by himself. Ninety executive orders that he can undo and bring back Trump's border security policies. He needs to do it because the country needs it."
    • Rep. Byron Donalds on Fox News Sunday: "Joe Biden is the one who broke our southern border. Those are his executive orders when he came into the White House. These are the 10 million people who've come in under his watch and he refuses to lift a finger."
  • The American people know that Joe Biden is to blame for our dangerous open border.
    • Margaret Brennan reported on CBS' Face the Nation: "By more than 5 to 1, voters believe Biden's policies will lead MORE migrants to try crossing the border compared with President Trump's policies."
    • Fox News: "Immigration is Biden’s worst issue tested: 31% approve vs. 66% disapprove."

 

It's clear that Joe Biden's presidency has been a failure:

  • The four major polls released this weekend all show that Americans think the state of the union is not strong and that Joe Biden's presidency has failed the nation.
    • CBS News poll:
      • 66 percent of voters say things in America are going "badly."
      • 55 percent of voters say that Joe Biden's policies will make prices "go up."
    • Wall Street Journal poll:
      • 69 percent of voters say that things are going in the "wrong direction."
      • 60 percent of voters disapprove of the job Joe Biden is doing. 
    • New York Times poll:
      • The majority of voters say economic conditions are "poor."
      • Just 18 percent of voters said Joe Biden's policies have helped them personally, while 40 percent of voters said President Trump's policies have helped them personally.
    • Fox News poll:
      • On the economy: 62 percent of voters disapprove of Joe Biden's handling of the issue.
      • On China: 61 percent of voters disapprove of Joe Biden's handling of the issue.
      • On inflation: 65 percent of voters disapprove of Joe Biden's handling of the issue.
      • On the war between Israel and Hamas: 65 percent of voters disapprove of Joe Biden's handling of the issue.
      • On immigration: 66 percent of voters disapprove of Joe Biden's handling of the issue.

On Thursday, Biden will attempt to misinform America about the havoc his policies have wreaked upon the nation, but voters won’t buy his lies:

 

  • Since Biden took office in January 2021, prices haverisen by an unaffordable 18%, forcing the average American household to spend an additional $11,619 every year just to make ends meet.
    • Grocery costs have increased 21%, people are paying 20% more on rent, and energy bills are 29% more expensive.
  • 62% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.
  • Delinquency rates on credit card and auto loans have hit their highest point since the Great Recession. 

  • A CBS News/YouGov poll released Sunday shows that American voters are not buying Joe Biden’s lies about Bidenomics:

    • More Americans remember the booming Trump economy working positively for them compared to how they rate Biden’s current handling of the economy.

    • More than half of registered voters believe that Biden’s economic policies will make prices go up, and more voters believe that President Trump’s policies will lower prices if elected.

    • 63% of registered voters believe that President Trump has a vision for the country, while half of voters think that Joe Biden does not.
    • More Americans believe that President Trump will fight for people like them than Joe Biden will.
  • President Trump built the world’s greatest economy once before, and he is the only candidate for president who has the plan and expertise to do it again.
    • PRESIDENT TRUMP: “When I’m back in the White House, I will immediately unleash energy production, slash regulations, like I did just three years ago, and repeal Biden’s tax hikes to get inflation down as fast as possible, and it will go quickly, so that interest rates can get back under control.”
