Biden Huddles With His Radical House Democrat Allies

Joe Biden will speak this afternoon at the House Democrats' annual conference. 

House Democrats have been dutifully pushing Biden's radical agenda.

• In just the past week, the majority of House Democrats, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, voted against legislation to deport illegal immigrants convicted of DUI or Social Security fraud. 
  • Joe Biden has said that he doesn't think ICE should arrest illegal immigrants arrested for DUI.

• In March of 2021, Biden Democrats passed the American Rescue Plan (ARP), a $1.9 trillion spending spree ostentatiously named to respond to the China Virus but, in reality, was a free-for-all giveaway that sparked the last three years of inflation.
  • In February 2021, the month before the bill passed, inflation was at 1.7%. By June of 2022, the inflation rate had soared to a 40-year record high of 9.1%.
  • Less than 9% of the funding in the ARP was allocated to actual public health measures to combat the China Virus. Even liberal media fact-checkers, after redefining public health measures to include funding for school districts and pay for workers, were forced to admit only one-fifth of the bill’s funding addresses the China Virus.
  • The majority of the bill was wastedon projects like a $140 million luxury hotel in Florida, $7 million for influencers to promote seafood, $4 million for bathrooms on the beach in South Carolina, $4 million for a bird sanctuary, and $2 million to plant trees in New York. Other boondoggles include $15 million to fund “anti-racism” and “social activism” programs for children.
  • $783 million in stimulus checks were sent to prisoners, including the Boston Marathon bomber.

• In August of 2021, Biden Democrats passed the so-called “infrastructure” bill, costing American taxpayers another $1 trillion of their hard-earned money while facing a 5.3% inflation rate.
  • The bill included $10 million for bee-friendly roads and highways.
  • Biden’s initial $2.2 trillion infrastructure proposal included $174 billion for electric vehicle manufacturers and $10 billion for a militant “Civilian Climate Corps” to advance “environmental justice.”

• In November of 2021, Biden's House Democrat allies passed the “Build Back Better Act,” which would have poured fuel on the inflationary fire by spending trillions of additional taxpayer dollars at a time when Americans were already struggling with a 6.8% inflation rate.
  • The bill included $320 billion in tax credits for Green New Deal priorities, including electric vehicles that are currently sitting—unsellable—in auto dealership lots.
  • The package also included $100 billion so Biden and the Democrats could offer millions of illegal immigrants “a temporary form of deportation protection,” as well as granting work visas and pathways to citizenship for illegal immigrants with relatives who are U.S. citizens.
  • Biden Democrats attempted to hide the true cost of the bill by adding in “arbitrary sunsets and expirations.” If the Build Back Better Act were made permanent, it would cost $4.8 trillion—more than double what the Democrats told America it would cost—and add $2.8 trillion to the deficit.

• In August 2022, Biden and the Democrats passed the “Inflation Reduction Act”—which did anything but.
  • The act imposed taxes on both petroleum produced in the United States and imported from elsewhere, as well as a tax on coal, further driving up energy prices and directly contributing to inflation.
  • The bill also included $80 billion for the IRS to fill up to 87,000 positions, doubling the current size of the IRS and increasing its scope to target individuals and small businesses.
  • Under the “Inflation Reduction” Act, Chinese companies stand to get up to $1.4 billion a year in taxpayer-funded subsidies.
