It's been another awful week for Ron DeSantis. Here's Fox News' Pete Hegseth's review of DeSantis' Iowa trip. "Unbelievably underwhelming...very little energy...it's just not there," Hegseth said. 

 

Meanwhile, the New York Times is reporting that DeSantis is working on mastering basic social skills: "The governor and his team have had internal conversations acknowledging the need for him to engage in the basics of political courtship: small talk, handshaking, eye contact."

 

While DeSantis learns how to shake hands and look people in the eyes, President Trump is busy consolidating support. Twodifferent Florida Republican primary polls released this past week show President Trump ahead with a comfortable lead. 

 

And after President Trump's rockstar performance at CNN's town hall, Dan Bongino put his support behind President Trump and declared that the primary is over.

Crisis at the border shows why we need President Trump back in the White House:

  • Illegal border crossings topped 10,000 per day this past week -- a record high.
    • The White House is in denial that there's a problem. Spokesman John Kirby declared, "It's not a crisis down there at the border."
    • There absolutely is a crisis at the border. On Friday alone, five different immigrants on the terror watch list were caught crossing the border, according to a Breitbart report. For comparison, there were just 3 terror watchlist arrests at the border in Fiscal Year 2020. 
    • The Biden adminsitration embraces the endless flood of illegals across the border because it means cheap labor for Biden's donors. Secretary Mayorkas acknowledged this in a recent press conference. "There are businesses around this country desperate for workers," Mayorkas responded when asked about the cost of millions of illegal immigrants crossing the border.
  • President Trump secured our border once and will secure it again. He promises to launch the "largest domestic deportation operation in American history."
