President Trump is increasing his lead among Republican voters. The more voters learn about other candidates, the bigger the lead grows for Donald Trump.

A Quinnipiac national poll released Wednesday shows Trump's lead over DeSantis increasing by 8 percent.

The Hill: "Former President Trump widened his lead over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to 14 points in a new Quinnipiac University poll of 15 current and potential candidates for the GOP presidential nomination.

The poll, released Wednesday, showed Trump in first with 46 percent support from Republicans and Republican-leaning voters, followed by DeSantis with 32 percent. That’s a notable increase in Trump’s lead from Quinnipiac’s poll last month that showed him leading DeSantis by 6 points, 42 percent to 36 percent."

Additionally, a CWS Research poll of Texas voters shows a large jump in support for President Trump. The pollster's January survey of likely Republican primary voters showed President Trump leading with 36 percent and Ron DeSantis at 35 percent.

The February poll shows President Trump with a 16 percent lead. President Trump is at 43 percent and Ron DeSantis is at 27 percent.
