Trump Announces Plan To Destroy Chinese Communist Party Influence

President Trump announced his plan Wednesday to dismantle the Chinese government's influence in the United States. Trump proposes banning Chinese nationals from buying U.S. farmland and other vital American interests like medical supplies or natural resources.

Our Take:

  • President Trump's bold vision to take on Chinese Communist Party stands in contrast to the compromised Biden Crime Family.  Joe Biden was "office mates" with Hunter's Chinese business partner.
  • Biden not only refused to stand up to China, but he's actively helped our adversary. His administration sold nearly 6 million barrels of oil from our Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China.
  • China is buying up American farmland. They own and control nearly 200,000 acres of U.S. farmland. President Trump wants to put a stop to this national security threat.

The Background:

"As I’ve long said, economic security is national security,” Trump said in his Wednesday announcement. “China does not allow American companies to take over their critical infrastructure and America should not allow China to take over our critical infrastructure."

"To protect our country, we need to enact aggressive new restrictions on Chinese ownership of any vital infrastructure in the United States, including energy, technology, telecommunications, farmland, natural resources, medical supplies, and other strategic national assets," Trump continued. “We should stop all future Chinese purchases in these essential industries. And we should begin the process of forcing the Chinese to sell any current holdings that put our national security at risk."

Trump's announcement received immediate praise. Congressman Ronny Jackson wrote, "China must be BANNED from having ANY ownership of our infrastructure, and President Trump is the ONLY person who can DESTROY China’s corrupt influence on our country. If we’re going to stop China, we MUST get President Trump BACK in the White House!!"

President Trump has long recognized the threat China poses to the U.S. In a Tuesday interview, Rep. Jim Banks acknowledged this and said, "Donald Trump was the first president in my lifetime that said, 'China is a threat to the United States. We're going to do something about it.'"
