One of the first things Joe Biden did in office was remove the Houthis from the State Department's foreign terrorist organization list. The Houthis have since launched dozens of attacks on commercial ships and have launched missiles at Israel.
The Houthis were put on list by the Trump administration. Brian Hook, a former Trump State Department official, said, "I was disappointed when this administration came into office the first thing they did was delisted the Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization."
Fox News reported in October that the Middle East is "paying [the] price of Biden White House removing Houthis from terrorist list."
