President Donald Trump spoke at two events in Iowa on Monday where he laid out his agenda to make America safe again.
President Donald Trump was introduced at both events in Adel and Clive by Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird. Attorney General Bird endorsed President Trump on Monday and said, "He protected us from the terrorists, from the criminals, from the cartels, and only President Trump can make America safe again."
Highlights from President Trump's speeches:
President Trump: "Under my leadership, the world’s thugs and villains and killers and savages were in retreat and running scared...all because you had a president who stood up for America."
President Trump: "The atrocities in Israel are a horrific reminder that immigration security is truly national security.... The purpose of U.S. immigration law is not to protect the world, it's to protect the United States of America. We have to protect our own country."
President Trump: "Under my administration, we will proactively send ICE to pro-Jihadist demonstrations to enforce our immigration laws and remove the violators from our country."
President Trump: "We aren't bringing in anyone from Gaza, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, or Libya, or anywhere else that threatens our security."
President Trump: "When I'm back in the Oval Office, we will cut off every penny of money that we send to the Palestinians and the terrorists on day one. We will fully support Israel in defeating, dismantling, and permanently destroying the terrorist group known as Hamas."
President Trump: "I will immediately reinstate and expand the wildly successful Trump travel ban on entry from terror-plagued countries, territories, and places."
President Trump: "We will aggressively deport resident aliens with jihadist sympathies ... We will revoke the student visas of radical anti-American and antisemitic foreigners at our colleges and universities, and we will send them straight back home."
