Far-left radicals are trying to remove President Donald Trump from the ballot in Colorado in just the latest attempt to abuse the legal system for politicial means.

Here's what you need to know about the 14th Amendment case in Colorado:

Who is suing:

The group that brought the lawsuit is Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), which has received funding from George Soros' Open Society Foundations.

In 2017, Politico reported that Democratic donors were briefed that CREW will be at the center of an anti-Trump legal effort.

Who is the judge:

The judge is Sarah Wallace, who was appointed by Democrat Governor Jared Polis in August 2022 and officially became a judge in January 2023.

Wallace has a history of donating to Democrats. She donated to Raphael Warnock's campaign, the Colorado Democratic Party, and Amy Klobuchar's presidential campaign.

Wallace also donated $100 in October 2022 to a group called the Colorado Turnout Project. The group says they aim to vote out "pariahs like Representative Boebert."

Who was their star witness today:

Eric Swalwell appeared as a witness today.

Swalwell has a history of promoting conspiracy theories. His false claim that he has seen evidence of Russian collusion was even called out by CNN.

It's concerning that a Congressman that had a relationship with a Chinese spy is trying to interfere with American democracy.
