Did Kamala Harris Even Vet Tim Walz?

The choice of Tim Walz as a running mate shows just how incompetent Kamala Harris is.

• Her own campaign posted the video that showed Tim Walz lying and saying he "carried" weapons "in war."
  • CNN even called out Tim Walz for this, saying: "Walz did make a comment, he’s done it a couple times, where he has used language that suggested that he carried weapons in a fighting situation. There is no evidence that any time that he was in the position of being shot at and some of his language could easily be seen to suggest that he was."
  • NBC reported: "AHarris campaign spokesperson did not deny that Walz had embellished when he spoke of carrying weapons in war."

• The Washington Free Beacon reported Tim Walz "falsely claimed he served in Afghanistan."

• Another story from the Free Beacon revealed that Walz "knew his National Guard battalion was being eyed for a likely deployment to Iraq when he decided to retire."

• Walz even endorsed a book that falsely claimed he "served in Afghanistan."

• Veterans are calling out Tim Walz. New York Post: "Veterans have accused Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz of 'embellishing' his military career and abandoning his National Guard battalion, highlighting that the now-vice presidential pick for the Democrats never served in combat and retired from service ahead of his unit’s 2005 deployment to Iraq."
