ICYMI: TWITTER DOCUMENTS PROVE 2020 ELECTION WAS RIGGED AGAINST TRUMP

Newly released documents from Twitter show how the platform “took extraordinary steps to suppress” the New York Post’s bombshell reporting on Joe and Hunter Biden’s corruption in the final weeks of the 2020 presidential election. The documents also reveal how Twitter staff and executives routinely deleted Tweets at the request of Joe Biden’s team and the DNC.

Our Take:
This blatant manipulation by one of the largest social media platforms, on behalf of a Democrat candidate, was an explicit attempt to defeat President Donald Trump in the 2020 election. The suppression of the Hunter Biden story measurably impacted the outcome of the election.

-According to Twitter documents reviewed by journalist Matt Taibbi, Twitter “took extraordinary steps to suppress” the Hunter Biden laptop story. It included blocking the ability to share the story by direct messages, “a tool hitherto reserved for extreme cases, e.g. child pornography.”
-Twitter’s official excuse for suppressing the story was that it violated their “hacked content” policy; however, internal emails show Twitter’s own employees questioned the truth of this reason.
-Twitter insiders also revealed that a “hacked materials” decision usually required law enforcement officials discovering an actual hack. No such finding appears in the documents.
-Other emails show Joe Biden’s team and the DNC successfully petitioned Twitter staff and executives to remove tweets.
-Full knowledge of the details of the Hunter Biden scandal would have led nearly 10 percent of Biden voters to abandon him—more than enough to flip the election in the six swing states won by Biden (AZ, GA, MI, NV, PA, and WI).
-45.1 percent of Biden voters said they were unaware of the corruption scandal surrounding Joe and Hunter Biden.
-One in six Biden voters would have abandoned him if they had known about one or more of eight major news stories suppressed by Big Tech and the mainstream media in the 2020 election.

The Background:
On Oct. 14, 2020, the New York Post published the first story in a series of devastating articles sourced from the contents of a laptop that Hunter Biden abandoned at a repair store. The article outlined how Hunter Biden introduced a senior executive at the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma to his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden. This contradicted Biden’s oft-told lie that he never spoke with Hunter about his foreign business dealings.

Twitter then “took extraordinary steps to suppress” the Hunter Biden laptop story, including locking then-White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany out of her account for sharing the story. Twitter also blocked the ability to share the story by direct messages, “a tool hitherto reserved for extreme cases, e.g. child pornography.”

Using tools originally “designed to combat the likes of spam and financial fraudsters,” staff and executives at Twitter caved to outside pressure to censor and stifle speech “first a little, then more often, then constantly.” This pressure came directly from Joe Biden’s team and the DNC.

One internal email shows a Twitter executive discussing a list of Tweets sent by “the Biden team” for deletion on Oct. 24, 2020. Another Twitter executive replied, “handled these.” Another email from that same date shows an executive discussing another request, this one filed by the DNC.

While in office, President Trump stood up against Big Tech oligarchs unfairly censoring conservative ideas. He promoted the First Amendment rights of all Americans, especially for speech online.

In May 2020, President Trump signed the Executive Order on Preventing Online Censorship that made it “the policy of the United States to foster clear ground rules promoting free and open debate on the internet.” It also ensured that federal tax dollars did not finance online platforms restricting free speech.

President Trump noted in his 2024 announcement that his movement would be resisted by “the most dangerous domestic censorship system ever created by man or woman.” These newly released documents paint a dark picture of the clandestine mechanisms used by the Democrats and tech executives to control public opinion and stifle any opposition to their socialist agenda.

President Trump fought this fight before and he will fight it again—the votes and voices of the American public should never be controlled by a hidden elite.
